We were challenged with branding a new secret bar in Nottingham. German for 'The Shoe Room', Das Schuhzimmer appears to be a classic shoe shop from the outside, but pushing the hidden door allows access to an intimate cocktail bar. We wanted the branding to emphasise a classic shopfront, with a unique gold typeface on a dark blue background.
We then developed a simple but completely unique micro-site. Continuing with the secret/hidden theme, we created a torchlight effect that reveals the logo and image hinting at what the brand is about. Photographing the space and the cocktails was the final part of the project.
